The West End of London has long been a favourite area to visit for people from all over the world; this part of the city has most of the tourist attractions, like Leicester Square or the houses of Parliament. The area is also well known for socializing as the clubs are open all night; also many of the best theatres are located in the West End along with superb michelin awarded restaurants.The West End attractions by day are family orientated and at night are more for adult entertainment that’s not to say there is nothing to do for families in the evenings because in the West End of London, there is always something going on.

There are 10 main districts which make up the West End. Our team have written a short guide to some of these districts containing hotels and entertainment as well as the nearest underground stations and retail outlets even times it takes from airports to hotels and added tables to show what types of facilities hotels have and places to visit in each district.

The District Of Bloomsbury:

The area of Bloomsbury is known to have the best parks in London and these wre designed in squares, hence the names Russell Square or Bedford Square , these would normally be central to houses that would surround them, some these houses would date back to Georgian times. Many of the parks are now open to the public but originally they were used solely for the residents who lived in that particular square.

Bloomsbury Street is just a short walk from the British Museum and within this area you have 3 pubs to choose from. Bloomsbury Street runs straight in to New Oxford Street where you can enjoy lots of retail therapy. The Bloomsbury area offers a bit of everything for any visitor, parks are popular but also the pubs are some of the oldest in London such as the Queens Larder where you can enjoy fine ales with traditional English food.
